Axiom, a legal staffing provider, announced two key executives: Ashlin Quirk joined as general counsel, while Katrina Benjamin assumed the role of chief product officer.

Quirk, a former Axiom client, previously was executive VP, general counsel, privacy officer and secretary at Dynata, a multinational data insights company. She succeeds Catherine Kemnitz, who recently moved into the role of chief strategy and development officer.

Benjamin’s experience includes product leadership roles at talent platform Upwork Inc., including as general manager of Talent Marketplace. Most recently, she was chief product officer at ApartmentList, an online marketplace connecting renters with properties.

“Katrina’s expertise in two-sided marketplace businesses will help us scale our legal talent platform, better enabling clients to seamlessly connect with the lawyers and legal professionals they need,” Axiom CEO David McVeigh said. “In addition, Ashlin Quirk’s expertise and unique insight as a former Axiom client will be instrumental to unlocking future industry innovation while still maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.”
