Labor Department reportedly citing Cisco for favoring visa holders over US workers (Bloomberg Law)

An audit by the US Department of Labor’s federal contractor watchdog found Cisco Systems Inc. discriminated against US workers by securing visas for foreign workers instead of hiring US citizens for certain jobs and paying the visa holders at a lower rate, sources familiar with the probe told Bloomberg Law. The probe is one of several ongoing investigations into possible discrimination by federal contractors involving visa holders. A Cisco spokeswoman denied some of the allegations.
