Jordan Search Consultants acquires New England healthcare search firm

July 11, 2017

Jordan Search Consultants acquired Health Search New England, a search firm serving healthcare providers throughout the Northeast, in a deal signed June 30. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Health Search New England’s former owner Celena Knapp will remain with the firm as a vice president. The acquired company will operate as Health Search New England, a division of Jordan Search Consultants, and continue to be based in Bangor, Maine.

“Jordan Search Consultants has been successful in gaining market share throughout the West Coast and southeast, but knew we needed a strong partner to penetrate New England,” said Kathy Jordan, founder and CEO of Jordan Search Consultants. “Celena and I have known each other for almost a decade and I have great respect for her and HSNE; it felt like the right match at the right time.”

Jordan Search Consultants, based in O’Fallon, Mo., logged $2.0 million in revenue for 2016, which it anticipates will increase to $3.5 million this year and $5.5 million in 2018. Health Search New England is expected to contribute $300,000 in revenue for 2017, increasing to $1.0 million in 2018.

Jordan Search Consultants, founded in 2003, provides healthcare, higher education and corporate recruitment.
