Job Mobz, a San Francisco-based provider of recruitment process outsourcing, acquired Before You Apply, a platform in the passive candidate sourcing, corporate transparency and employment branding sectors.

Founded in 2020, Before You Apply enables job seekers to make informed decisions by exploring alignment with company values, team dynamics and work-life balance through insights and information directly from the perspective of current employees and company leaders.

“With limited options available to allow passive candidates the chance to hear from real employers and workers about real opportunities in real time, we strongly believe that Before You Apply will meet an existing market need for increased brand awareness, transparency around company culture and a more informed decision-making process for job seekers across industries, levels and markets,” Jesse Tinsley, founder and CEO of Job Mobz said in a press statement.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Further details about the integration of services and offerings of Before You Apply will be shared in the coming months, according to Job Mobz.

The deal follows Job Mobz’s acquisition of Golden Hive — the RPO division of Human Bees, a Sacramento, California-based recruitment company — in December 2023.
