Jackson Healthcare names CIO

July 24, 2017

Jackson Healthcare, an Atlanta-based healthcare staffing provider, announced today that Ryan Esparza has been named chief information officer. He will oversee technology initiatives as head of the shared services technology group that supports 18 companies in the Jackson Healthcare portfolio.

Esparza most recently was a VP of software engineering at The Weather Company, an IBM Business, where he managed engineering teams in Atlanta and Israel to build the company’s advertising, video and content delivery platforms in all digital formats. Previously, as a global innovation manager at IHG, he launched the world’s first mobile key platform, according to Jackson.

In his first six months at Jackson Healthcare, he has upgraded legacy infrastructure and migrated business processes to the cloud.

“Ryan is the ultimate technology leader, a naturally curious problem solver who can operate at 30,000 feet and just as easily fix a problem deep in the weeds,” said Chief of Corporate Operations Jennifer Dangar. “We are incredibly fortunate to have such a strategic thinker in Ryan. He’s already helping propel Jackson Healthcare’s rapid growth.”
