Mountview Partners, a Houston-based investment firm targeting vertical niche software, acquired TargetRecruit, a provider of software for staffing and recruiting firms built on the Salesforce platform.

The transaction closed May 7. The entire TargetRecruit team is retained and founder Reena Gupta continues in the position of chief strategy officer. TargetRecruit has 53 employees with numerous clients across 22 countries.

Launched in 2008, TargetRecruit has more than 400 staffing clients, according to Staffing Industry Analysts’ 2016 Front Office Staffing Software Vendor Landscape report.

TargetRecruit’s offerings include an applicant tracking system, a healthcare recruiting solution and a workforce management system. The company has offices in San Francisco and Bangalore, India; an office in Houston will also be opened.
