IT staffing provider Insight Global appointed DeWayne Griffin as chief digital and information officer. Griffin comes to Insight Global from insurance firm State Farm, where he most recently served as chief data officer. Griffin has more than two decades of experience.

Vaco Holdings, a provider of finance, IT and other staffing services, appointed Katherine Thompson as VP of diversity, equity and inclusion. Most recently, Thompson served as the first public sector diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility solution leader and advisor at Grant Thornton. Thompson has more than 10 years of experience working with Fortune 500 firms and large public and private sector organizations. Thompson will be primarily based in the Washington, DC area.  

Alku, a staffing provider based in Andover, Massachusetts, promoted Dennis Kapsimalis to VP, talent operations. Kapsimalis joined Alku as an intern in 2012 and most recently served as senior director of talent. Kapsimalis will work with the talent acquisition and development teams and lead the strategy and direction of the company’s three training centers in his new role.

Executive search firm Diversified Search Group announced managing directors Jim Sirianni and Susan VanGilder, will co-lead the firm’s education practice. Sirianni and VanGilder succeed Shelly Storbeck, who recently announced her retirement and will remain the company’s strategic advisor working closely with Sirianni and VanGilder. Storbeck joined Diversified Search Group in 2020 when it acquired Storbeck Search, a firm she founded in 2008. VanGilder has placed leaders for several higher education and nonprofit institutions worldwide and has more than 30 years of executive search experience.

Addison Group announced senior recruiter Anthony Naranjo will lead its first office in Tampa, Florida, as branch manager of its Tampa Bay finance and accounting division.

FDM Group (Holdings) plc, a global IT staffing firm that works on the recruit-train-deploy model, appointed Rowena Murray as a nonexecutive director of the company, effective Aug. 1. Murray will become a member of the audit and the remuneration committee on appointment. Additionally, Murray is currently a nonexecutive director at Altum Group, a fund, corporate and trustee services provider, and Eikon Group, a provider of digital content post-production services to Hollywood studios and entertainment distribution companies.

DHI Group, the parent company of job boards Dice and ClearanceJobs, named Amy Heidersbach as chief marketing officer. Based in Denver, Heidersbach will lead DHI's marketing organization and head the company's digital marketing strategy, product marketing, demand generation and branding for Dice.

Steve Vittorioso was named director of industry marketing at Ceipal, a software platform for staffing firms. Vittorioso’s previous experience includes serving as director of communications at ZoomInfo and senior media relations manager at Bullhorn.
