January 12, 2023

IT services giant Infosys Ltd. (NYSE: NFY) reported revenue rose 13.7% on a constant currency basis in its fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31.

“Our revenue growth was strong in the quarter, with both digital business and core services growing,” CEO and Managing Director Salil Parekh said. “This is a clear reflection of our deep client relevance, industry-leading digital, cloud and automation capabilities, and the unrelenting dedication of our employees.”

The number of active clients rose to 1,850 in the fourth quarter from 1,738 in the year-ago quarter.

“Operating margins in Q3 remained resilient due to cost optimization benefits which offset the impact of seasonal weakness in operating parameters,” CFO Nilanjan Roy said. “Attrition reduced meaningfully during the quarter and is expected to decline further in the near term.”

In addition, the company named Govind Iyer as an independent director effective today. Iyer is a partner at Egon Zehnder.
