Staffing firm TMC Workforce Solutions acquired Summitline Industries, a provider distribution, fulfillment and procurement services based in Fort Wayne, Ind.

“We value the longstanding success of Summitline Industries and are committed to providing the team of dedicated employees the resources needed to continue the success they have built over the last three decades,” TMC President and CEO James Morris II said in a statement. “This investment illustrates our confidence in the future of outsourced MBE Procurement and Supply Chain Services as customers and suppliers expand the market over the coming decades.”

The deal closed Sept. 18; terms were not announced. Summitline has approximately $10 million in annual sales and about 20 employees. The company will rebrand to TMC Supply Chain Solutions, and the operations executive team will remain.

TMC Workforce Solutions targets light industry and warehouse staffing, and the transaction advances the company’s strategic focus on growing its supply chain solutions support business. It has from $12 million to $15 million in annual sales and about 500 contract employees working in Texas, Indiana, Kentucky and Wisconsin.
