Xenspire, an IT staffing and consulting provider based in Marlborough, Massachusetts, acquired Laboratory Staffing Inc., a life sciences staffing provider based in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. The deal closed Oct. 30.

Xenspire aims to strengthen its presence in the scientific, biotech and pharma domains with the acquisition.

Laboratory Staffing will continue to operate as a standalone entity while integrating Xenspire’s strategies to meet current industry demands. Plans also call for the leadership from both companies to collaborate throughout the integration transition.

Founded in 1998, Laboratory Staffing is a contract and direct-hire employment services company specializing in scientists and laboratory technicians in addition to manufacturing and administrative professionals.

Xenspire was founded in 2018.
