Recruitment company Hueman People Solutions acquired Agency a la Carte, a staffing and recruiting firm targeting marketing communications and creative services. Both firms are headquartered in Jacksonville Beach, Fla.

The transaction closed March 23; terms were not disclosed. Hueman currently intends to keep the Agency a la Carte brand.

Founded in 1994, Agency a la Carte has clients in Northeast Florida, the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and the Midwest — including EverBank, The Adecco Group, Acosta Sales and Marketing, Regency Centers and Stein Mart. It has an internal staff of about six. Mary Harvey, founder and former CEO, remains on board as a full-time consultant and contractor.

Hueman is the parent company of Hueman RPO and Hueman Risk Adjustment Staffing. It has doubled its internal staff in the past six months to 120, most of whom are recruiters. Hueman spun off PPR Talent Management Group in 2016. Medical Solutions, an Omaha, Neb.-based nurse staffing firm, acquired PPR Talent Management Group earlier this year.
