Temporary staffing hours worked in the US rose 14.5% in the week ended Jan. 13, 2024, compared to the previous week, according to the latest SIA | Bullhorn Staffing Indicator report. Still, they were down 12% year over year.

During the week ending Jan. 13, Indicator values for US staffing, commercial staffing and professional staffing regained close to 50% of the drop observed between the week ending Dec. 16, 2023, and the week ending Jan. 6. This gap is expected to narrow further in the remaining weeks of January.
