Hospitality Staffing Solutions LLC, an Atlanta-based national provider of hospitality staffing, appointed Kevin Murphy to take over leadership of the company from President Tim McPherson, who retired from the company on Aug. 4.  

Murphy, who has more than 25 years of management experience, joined HSS in 2014 and previously was senior VP of finance. Prior to HSS, he held senior leadership roles with ChoicePoint and Signature Information Solutions LLC, a division of LexisNexis.  

“Kevin has a deep understanding of the complex operating environment our clients face and is the perfect fit to lead HSS into the future,” McPherson said. “I look forward to seeing Kevin expand upon the company’s status as one of the top hospitality staffing firms in the nation.”  

HSS, which SIA ranks as the ranks as the 21st-largest industrial staffing firm in the US, was acquired in early 2020 by Kellermeyer Bergensons Services, a facilities management company based in Oceanside, California. 

“Tim has done a remarkable job of building the company into a national leader, focusing on quality service delivery, expanded service offerings, and overseeing our integration with KBS,” Murphy said. “I am excited to lead HSS at a critical time in our industry, and I look forward to working directly with our many clients, partners and employees.”
