Hospitality Staffing Solutions LLC, a staffing provider for the hospitality industry, appointed Timothy McPherson as CEO, effective this week.

McPherson since 2009 served as president and COO of Nesco Resource, an Ohio-based engineering and industrial staffing provider. Prior to Nesco, he had a 20-year career with Adecco Employment Services/TAD Resources International. McPherson has appeared on The Staffing 100 list of most influential people in the staffing industry.

McPherson replaces Rick Holliday, who joined HSS in 2007 and helped rebuild the company following its recapitalization in January 2014, when the company sold its assets to HS Solutions Corp., an entity formed by a group of investors. HSS had filed for Chapter 11 to facilitate the asset sale.

“Tim brings a wealth of experience in the staffing industry and adds additional talent and leadership to our executive team as we enter the next phase of our development and growth,” said Angus Littlejohn, CEO of Littlejohn Capital LLC, which led the recapitalization. “His experience, vision and skills will be a tremendous asset to HSS as we move forward following our investment with a strong balance sheet, a solid management team, and motivated staff who support the operations of leading hotels, resorts, and casinos around the country.”

Established in 1990, HSS provides staffing at more than 600 hotels, resorts and casinos in 34 states. The Atlanta-based company provides personnel for housekeeping, janitorial, stewarding, laundry, food and beverage and grounds maintenance.
