Hireology raises $27 million

Hireology, a recruitment management platform for the automotive and healthcare sectors, closed $27 million in Series D financing.

 Blue Cloud Ventures led the funding round, with full participation from current investors Bain Capital Ventures and Baird Venture Partners, as well as Silicon Valley Bank.

Funds will be used to accelerate the company’s growth in new market verticals and to create features that further differentiate its product offering. This latest round of investment brings Hireology’s total capital raised to $60.5 million.

The round included $12 million of in equity invested by Blue Cloud Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures and Baird Venture Partners; the remaining $15 million raised in debt financing from Silicon Valley Bank, Hireology Co-Founder and CEO Adam Robinson told Chicago Inno. The $12 million in equity was invested by Blue Cloud Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures and Baird Venture Partners.

Founded in 2010, Chicago-based Hireology counts more than 6,500 customers and 200 employees.
