HireQuest Inc. (NASDAQ: HQI) signed a deal to acquire The Dubin Group Inc. and Dubin Workforce Solutions Inc., providers of executive placement and commercial staffing in Philadelphia.

“This acquisition not only expands our HireQuest Direct and Snelling offerings in the Northeast, but it also provides us a toehold into higher margin executive placement services in the region,” HireQuest President and CEO Rick Hermanns said.

The deal is subject to a number of closing conditions and is expected to finalize in this quarter.

Hermanns also noted founder Kenny Dubin has agreed to stay on with the combined company.

HireQuest is a staffing franchisor with more than 210 franchisee-owned offices in more than 35 states. It’s based in Goose Creek, South Carolina.
