HireAlliance names COO

February 07, 2017

HireAlliance, a New Hampshire-based search firm serving the staffing and talent acquisition industry, announced Jenny Smith returned to the firm as chief operating officer. HireAlliance added the COO role in anticipation of Managing Partners Dave Camell and Jay Brunetti stepping into enterprise business development roles in early 2017.

Smith will oversee day-to-day operations of the headquarters office and staff and lead HireAlliance’s talent management, sales and marketing and organizational development efforts.

HireAlliance expects significant growth and expansion in the next four years and intends to expand beyond the Northeast to a national level. Additional plans include the exploration of new service lines for clients in the staffing and talent acquisition industry and as many as 25 internal hires in the next four years.

Smith previously served with HireAlliance as a staffing consultant from 2005 to 2006 and as team lead and director of organizational development from 2013 to 2016. She spent most of 2016 in a consulting role for the firm, helping to prepare the organization for its change initiative.

“Dave and I are at a place with HireAlliance where we are more valuable working on the business versus in the business,” Brunetti said. “To support the growth and expansion we envision, we need someone we can trust to take over day-to-day operations and to work with the core team here — they are literally our biggest asset. This move is the first in a series that will allow us to spend more time with our clients and to grow the capabilities of the company.”

HireAlliance counts 10 employees in its Bedford, N.H., office and approximately $2.5 million in annual revenue generated from both contract and direct hire placements.
