Hire Technologies Inc. (TSXV: HIRE.V) struck a deal to sell its Provision IT staffing business unit to Design Group Staffing Inc., the seventh-largest Canadian staffing firm, for a cash purchase price of C$4.5 million (US$3.4 million), according to a regulatory filing. 

The transaction is subject to closing conditions, including approval of Hire Technology shareholders.  

Hire Technologies acquired Toronto-based Provision in 2018. 

This is the second recent sale of a Hire Technologies division. The company said in March it would sell select assets from its Headhunters business unit to the vendors from whom it acquired the business in September 2021.
