Hire Dynamics acquired Trace Staffing Solutions, a commercial staffing firm headquartered in Savannah, Georgia, in a transaction that closed Nov. 18. Hire Dynamics, based in Atlanta, says the deal will make it the largest commercial staffing firm focused on the Southeast.

“Trace’s branches are complementary to Hire Dynamics branches and will expand our ability to serve clients in South Georgia and the growing markets in coastal areas of South Carolina, Virginia, and Jacksonville, Florida,” Hire Dynamics CEO Billy Milam said.

Both companies provide staffing for warehouses, administration, manufacturing and contact centers.

Trace Staffing has 16 branches while Hire Dynamics has 36. The combined company will serve more than 2,000 clients and put more than 10,300 people to work each week.

Hire Dynamics is majority owned by private equity firm MSouth Equity Partners. Trace was owned by Amzak Capital Management.

Senior leadership at Trace has joined Hire Dynamics.

“Our culture and values are a great fit with Hire Dynamics,” Trace CEO Scott Roth said.
