Heidrick board member named president and CEO of Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas

Executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASD: HSII) board member Robert Kaplan resigned his position with the firm following his appointment as president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

 His resignation from the board was effective Aug. 20.

Kaplan joined Heidrick & Struggle’s board in January 2015. At the time he was the senior associate dean and Martin Marshall professor of management practice in business administration at Harvard Business School, as well as co-chairman of Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, a global venture philanthropy firm, and chairman and a founding partner of Indaba Capital Management LLC. Kaplan also served on the board of the State Street Corp.
