Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASDAQ: HSII), a Chicago-based provider of executive search and on-demand talent, entered into an agreement to acquire businessfourzero, a London-headquartered consultancy focused on developing and implementing purpose-driven change.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The management team of businessfourzero — led by CEO Atif Sheikh — will remain in place. In addition, the businessfourzero brand will also remain.

The move comes after Heidrick & Struggles acquired Atreus GmbH, a Munich, Germany-based firm providing experienced interim C-suite-level executives.

“Businessfourzero will form an integral part of Heidrick Consulting's offering, strengthening our ability to work with clients who are focused on developing future-ready cultures and organizations with pragmatic, actionable strategies. We look forward to welcoming Atif Sheikh and the entire team to Heidrick & Struggles,” Heidrick & Struggles president and CEO Krishnan Rajagopalan said.

The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions. It is expected to close in April.
