Healthcare staffing exec and husband survive plane crash that killed pilots (The Greenville News)

October 09, 2018

The Greenville (SC) News reported the founder and CEO of MedPartners, Marci Wilhelm, and her husband, Steve Rose, were passengers who survived a crash Sept. 27 at the Greenville, SC, Downtown Airport that took the lives of two pilots. AMN Healthcare Services Inc. (NYSE: AMN) in April acquired Coral Springs, Fla.-based MedPartners for $195 million. “We are more than coworkers at AMN — we are family,” AMN Healthcare President and CEO Susan Salka told The Greenville News. “Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of the pilots who lost their lives in the accident, and right now everyone at MedPartners and AMN Healthcare is focused on doing all we can — both personally and at work — to help Marci and Steve as they heal. It will take patience and hard work, but fortunately both are expected to make a strong recovery.”
