Healthcare Support Staffing Inc. this week announced it acquired HCS Healthcare, a healthcare staffing firm based in Winter Park, Fla.

HCS Healthcare was formerly known as Healthcare Scouts, and appeared on SIA's list of fastest-growing staffing firms last year. It changed its name in August 2017.

“We are pleased to announce this exciting acquisition that will pull together the best talent and resources to provide both new and pre-existing clients with the most positive experience,” HealthCare Support President James Thompson said.

Terms of the transaction were not announced. The two companies have been combined and will operate under the HealthCare Support brand.

HealthCare Support, the acquiring company, is based in Maitland, Fla. It provides healthcare staffing in clinical and nonclinical positions.
