Healthcare staffing provider Health Carousel acquired the assets of Locum Medical Group, a part of Randstad Holding NV.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Locum Medical Group will operate under the NEXTLocums brand moving forward.

Locum Medical Group was founded in 1987 and is headquartered in Cleveland.

Health Carousel last year acquired Columbus, Ohio-based Medical Staffing Options, a travel nurse staffing provider, and is the parent company of international healthcare staffing business PassportUSA; nurse travel staffing business Health Carousel Travel Network; and locum tenens company NEXTLocums. It ranks No. 17 on Staffing Industry Analyst’s list of the largest healthcare staffing firms in the US with $181 million in 2017 US healthcare temporary staffing revenue.
