Hawaii posts lowest unemployment rate in February

Hawaii posted the lowest unemployment rate among all states in February at 2.1%, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics reported. New Hampshire and North Dakota followed, both at 2.6% on a seasonally adjusted basis.

Alaska recorded the highest jobless rate among all states at 7.3% in February.

The BLS reported unemployment rates fell in February in seven states: Kentucky, Ohio, Wisconsin, Maine, New Mexico, Virginia and Wyoming.
