Name changes were announced today by two separate workforce solutions ecosystem firms: Genesys Talent and Lean Staffing Solutions.

Genesys Talent, a Houston-based talent direct-sourcing platform provider, has changed its name to Opptly.

The company said the Opptly name reflects its technology-focused direct-sourcing solution and it evokes opportunity connection.

“Working within the confines of the current contingent workforce paradigm is frustrating for both candidates and hiring managers,” Opptly CEO Carla Tibbitts said. “At Opptly, we are reframing the way that organizations and talent engage through a smart blend of technology and human curation.”

Separately, Lean Staffing Solutions announced today that it is now doing business as Lean Solutions Group. The company said the name change reflects its growth.

“The name change is driven by our new offerings,” CEO Robert Cadena said. “Our clients have guided our expansion into other areas like technology, sales and marketing. This new name and logo blend all our services into the same organization that our clients have learned to trust for the last nine years.”
