Funding round: Light industrial staffing marketplace Traba raises $22 million

October 27, 2023

Traba, a Miami-based marketplace platform for light industrial staffing, announced a $22 million funding round. The new round brings the total funding at the company to $43.6 million.

Founders Fund, a San Francisco-based venture capital firm, led the round, which also included existing investor Khosla Ventures, a Menlo Park, California-based venture capital firm.

Traba plans to use the funds to accelerate its expansion into new regions and add more product features to its marketplace platform that connects light industrial businesses looking for temporary staffing with workers who want to pick up shifts.

“Traba is poised for extraordinary success,” Keith Rabois, general partner at Founders Fund, said in a press release. “The company has quadrupled their revenue over the past year and is still accelerating growth every quarter. We almost never see companies sustain this speed of customer adoption while simultaneously expanding contribution margins.”

Founded in 2021, Traba is backed by Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures and General Catalyst.
