ApTask, an Edison, New Jersey-based staffing provider, announced Eddie Bright Jr. returned as CEO and partner earlier this month.

Bright first joined ApTask in 2014 as a chief sales officer and took over as CEO in 2017, leading the company until 2019. For the past four years, he has served as president and global CEO of HCM Staffing and Consulting Group.

Bright’s return to ApTask brings an opportunity to expand ApTask’s range of services to client partners, according to the company. Bright brings expertise in diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, which will enhance ApTask's existing staffing solutions offerings, which include technology, finance and accounting, engineering, sales, executive, marketing, scientific, legal and operational positions across all industries nationwide. 

Staffing Industry Analysts this year named him to its DE&I Influencers – US and Canada list.
