Staffing Express Inc., dba StaffEx, a Tampa, Fla.-based commercial staffing company, acquired Agility Staffing Inc. effective Tuesday.

Agility Staffing is an office services staffing company located in Jacksonville, Fla. It has six internal staff and places about 65 workers daily. Former owner Mike Rolewicz, who launched Agility Staffing in 1995, will transition out of the company but all other staff will remain.

The company will retain the Agility Staffing brand for the foreseeable future.

StaffEx provides light industrial, transportation, logistics and administrative staffing services with offices in Brandon, Tampa and St. Petersburg, Fla. A new office will soon be opening in Orlando, Fla.  

“Agility Staffing provided an opportunity that aligned with our strategy to expand our service offerings and to expand our geographic footprint within Florida,” StaffEx founder Tim Dyn said. “We look forward to growing the Agility Staffing brand alongside with the outstanding and talented team currently in place at Agility.”

Betty Pickett of Chartwell Business Advisors advised the seller in the transaction. Terms were not disclosed.
