Field Nation names chief revenue officer

May 19, 2016

Freelancer management system provider Field Nation named Jackie Schneider as chief revenue officer, effective May 16. The role is a new position at the company.

“Optimizing the revenue from our current customer base, while expanding our growth through new customer acquisition, will be a big focus area for us,” Schneider said.

Schneider most recently served as global VP of sales at Proto Labs, an online and technology-enabled manufacturer of custom prototype and low-volume production parts, where she helped take the company public. Schneider has more than 27 years of experience in sales and marketing and previously held leadership positions at Comm-Works, Concur, Landscape Structures and Hallmark Business Connections.

“Jackie’s proven track record of driving profitability will be a tremendous asset to Field Nation,” said Billy Cripe, chief marketing officer at Field Nation. “Her experience in sales and marketing elevates our strategy and will accelerate our ability to execute. We are excited to have her lead the efforts to expand revenue and deepen our engagement with our clients.”

Field Nation, headquartered in Minneapolis, has more than 100 employees. The company in 2014 recorded $62 million in marketplace transactions. In September 2015, it closed a $30 million investment led by Susquehanna Growth Equity.
