There deadline to send nominations for SIA’s 2023 Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Influencers — US and Canada list, is being extended until March 10.

This is the third year for the DE&I Influencers list, which recognizes professionals who are leading the charge to create opportunities for the historically excluded communities in the workforce solutions ecosystem.

Here’s some more information:

• The list is not a ranking and will be based on the nominations. It aims to include people who have made a demonstrable influence on our ecosystem. The DE&I influencer is one who is having tough conversations about race, gender and equality and challenging others to think differently and developing initiatives to drive change.
• The list is open to individuals in all corners of the workforce solutions ecosystem including staffing firms, buyers of staffing services, VMS/MSP/RPO providers, talent platform firms and vendors.
• Those making nominations should include examples of where their nominees are speaking out and working on DE&I and how those conversations and initiatives are changing attitudes or have effected change — especially over the course of the previous 12 months.
• The list will be published in the May/June 2023 issue of Staffing Industry Review magazine, and profiles will be available online.
