Gerard Stewart, an executive search firm focused on the staffing industry, is changing its name to L. Maxwell Global. With the new brand, the firm reported it aims to underscore the role of its founder Lisa Maxwell.

“Names and reputations carry significant weight in the executive search industry,” the company said in a press release. “The introduction of L. Maxwell Global solidifies the company’s commitment to ongoing growth and excellence.”

Maxwell, the firm’s founder, appeared on last year’s Global Power 150 — Women in Staffing list.

The firm was founded in 2005. Industries it serves include professional services, staffing, outsourcing and HR tech.
