Europe-based vendor management system Pixid announced it acquired Carerix, a Dutch-based provider of customer relationship management and applicant tracking system software.

Pixid will add a presence in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg with the Carerix acquisition. Pixid already had offices in France and the UK.

“Since 2004 we’ve continued to grow to the point where we now represent a significant part of the temporary employment market in France,” Pixid President Etienne Colella said. “But our ambitions are much wider than that and we are now adding Benelux to our existing presence in France, the UK and Germany. Each country has its own idiosyncrasies and we were keen to choose the right partner with a strong market share and dynamic innovation strategy — qualities that Carerix perfectly embodies.”

Pixid projected revenue of €25 million (US$30.9 million) this year, representing a 23% increase over last year. The company said it covers more than 90% of the temporary employment market in France.
