Empresaria named Rhona Driggs as chief operating officer and appointed her to its board. Driggs has 28 years of experience in the staffing industry and formerly was president of Volt Global Solutions with responsibility for its managed service division. Prior to that, she had served as executive VP for Volt’s commercial and technical staffing operations in North America, where she ran a $1.2 billion staffing business.

Driggs formally begins her new role on Nov. 5 at Empresaria, which provides staffing through 19 brands around the globe and is based in Crawley, England.

“I am delighted that Rhona has agreed to join Empresaria on the next stage of our journey as we continue to grow our group,” Empresaria CEO Spencer Wreford said in a statement. “Rhona brings a wealth of experience in the staffing sector and adds breadth of knowledge and capacity to the executive team as we drive further organic growth and build a bigger and stronger staffing group.”

Before joining Volt, Driggs was at Kelly Services Inc. She is also on Staffing Industry Analysts’ Global Power 100 list of most influential women in staffing.
