ProDrivers, a division of Atlanta-based EmployBridge, acquired regional transportation staffing firm Road Dog Drivers.

The addition of Road Dog Drivers’ branch locations expands ProDrivers’ service footprint in California and the entire West Coast while adding incremental coverage in North Carolina, Texas, Michigan and Illinois.

Road Dog Drivers will operate under the ProDrivers name. The transaction closed Dec. 3; terms were not disclosed. Road Dog Drivers’ senior leadership will remain.

Road Dog Drivers, headquartered in Cornelius, NC, launched in 2009. Prior to the combination with ProDrivers, Road Dog Drivers counted more than 500 drivers, about 250 clients and eight branch locations in five states: California, Illinois, Michigan, North Carolina and Texas. The combined organization now counts nearly 4,000 customers and more than 3,700 drivers. It operates more than 70 branch and on-site locations across North America.
