EmployBridge co-founder, executive VP and CFO Shawn Poole will retire from his role at the Atlanta-based industrial staffing firm on Jan. 31, the company announced yesterday. He will remain active with EmployBridge, assisting with the transition of his duties and as a strategic advisor to CEO Tom Bickes and to the company.

"For 17 years, I have had the privilege of working with a remarkable partner, great clients, and the most caring and committed colleagues in the industry,” Poole said. “I am extraordinarily proud of my team and their accomplishments."

During January, Poole will transition all financial operations to Chi Nguyen, the new executive VP and CFO for EmployBridge. Nguyen joins EmployBridge from Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services where she served in several capacities, including executive VP and CFO. Prior to that, she spent 10 years in the finance organization at the General Electric Company.

The shared services and IT organizations will transition to Paul Galleberg, the EmployBridge’s chief administrative officer.

Poole is recognized on SIA’s Staffing 100 list of the most influential people in the industry.

“Shawn has been instrumental in helping grow EmployBridge and our specialized workforce brands into national prominence,” Bickes said. “I am very grateful for our longtime partnership and pleased that Shawn will continue to work with us in an advisory role.”
