Emerson Group, a Morristown, New Jersey-based staffing firm, acquired The Job Exchange Associates Inc. of Limerick, Pennsylvania.

“We are excited about the possibilities and opportunities this union brings to our clients, candidates and team members,” Emerson Group President Bill Emerson said in a press release. “Lori [Colasanti, The Job Exchange founder and president] and I have collaborated closely over the years, so I anticipate a seamless transition for our existing clients, employees and candidates.”

The acquisition underscores both firms’ commitment to growth, Emerson Group’s press release said.

“Bill has been a respected colleague and friend,” Colasanti said. “The Job Exchange aligns naturally with Emerson Group, sharing similar core values, company culture and service areas. I truly believe our path forward is stronger together.”

The two companies have a combined 79 years in business. The Job Exchange focuses on finding workers in finance/accounting, administrative support, customer support and human resources.
