Eliassen Group LLC, an IT and life sciences staffing firm, acquired Lightwell Inc., a provider of IT staffing and recruiting services.

“Our strategic partnership with Lightwell marks an exciting time for Eliassen Group,” said Eliassen Group CEO Dave MacKeen. “Not only does it enhance Eliassen’s offerings in the cloud consulting and IT solutions space, but it also brings Eliassen to an international stage.”

Lightwell, headquartered in Ohio, has a presence across the US, Canada, Ireland and the UK.

The transaction closed on Nov. 3; terms were not announced. Lightwell will continue to operate under the Lightwell brand for a period while undergoing a gradual transition to the Eliassen Group brand.

The deal follows Eliassen’s acquisition this year of Rooster Park LLC, a provider of software engineering staffing based in the Seattle area.

Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Reading, Massachusetts, SIA ranks Eliassen Group as the 14th-largest IT staffing provider in the US.
