Grantham co-founded the company in 1996. However, prior to taking on the CEO role, she served as president and chief operating officer.

“We have a great team, a great company and are well positioned for growth,” Grantham said. “The opportunity to lead that growth is a challenge that excites me.”

She takes over from her husband, Kevin Dee, Eagle’s founding CEO who has been in the role for almost 20 years. Dee will remain with the company as chairman of the board and in an advisory role.

Prior to joining Eagle, Grantham held senior roles in a large system integration company. She is included in Staffing Industry Analysts’ Staffing 100 list of most influential people in the staffing industry and in its inaugural Global Power 100 — Women in Staffing list.

Research released last week by Staffing Industry Analysts forecast the Canadian temporary staffing market will grow 1% in 2016 to reach CAD 8.2 billion in revenue, and then expand 4% in 2017.
