Diversified Search announces second acquisition in two months

July 24, 2019

Diversified Search, a Philadelphia-headquartered provider of retained search, acquired Grant Cooper, a healthcare executive search firm based in St. Louis. The deal was announced Tuesday and comes on the heels of Diversified’s June acquisition of Koya Leadership Partners, a Boston-based executive search firm.

“This acquisition of Grant Cooper is another step toward our goal to create a new model in our industry, which is to help clients worldwide better meet the accelerated demand for talent at the C-Suite level,” said Judith von Seldeneck, founder of Diversified Search.

With the Grant Cooper and Koya acquisitions, Diversified is on track to annual revenue of $90 million, according to the company. It will also have offices in 16 US cities and approximately 250 employees.

Grant Cooper was established in 1957. Its clients include the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Inova Health System and Intermountain Healthcare.

“This partnership will give us even greater access to talent and broaden our geographic reach which will ultimately benefit our clients,” said Ed Stout, one of Grant Cooper’s three managing partners.
