Data provider Randall-Reilly acquires recruitment firm Smart Rhino Labs

Randall-Reilly, a B2B data provider in the industrial markets, acquired Smart Rhino Labs, which provides recruitment services to the trucking industry. 

The transaction closed March 15; terms were not disclosed. The combined firms will have more than 500 internal employees.

The Smart Rhino Labs brand will remain as a division of Randall-Reilly. Key leadership at the Salt Lake City-based firm will remain in their respective roles — including CEO Scott Evanson, COO Ben Paynter, CTO Brett Evanson and CMO Jared Beauchamp.

Founded in 2011, Salt Lake City-based Smart Rhino Labs provides technology and processes to helps HR professionals in candidate acquisition, job distribution, mobile recruiting, analytics, and high-volume hiring. It also owns and operates a network of 25 job boards.

Randall-Reilly provides data and data-driven marketing services, media and events for the trucking, construction, agriculture and other select markets. The company counts more than 4,400 clients. It is headquartered in Tuscaloosa, Ala., with additional offices in Charlotte, NC, and Anniston, Ala.
