Dallas-headquartered global executive search firm acquires Israel-based business

January 07, 2020

Kingsley Gate Partners, a global executive search firm headquartered in Dallas, today announced it acquired Everest Search Partners, a Tel-Aviv, Israel-based executive search firm with a focus on technology and life sciences. Everest’s Jeff Shapiro and Noam Eisenberg have joined Kingsley Gate as senior partners based in Tel Aviv. The deal closed Jan. 1.

Everest was founded in 2005.

“Tel Aviv is currently one the most important tech centers globally for doing business,” said Nancy Albertini, office of the CEO, Kingsley Gate Partners. “Noam and Jeff are world-class professionals with extensive search expertise, and we couldn’t be more excited to have them strengthen and expand our presence in Israel and the region.”

Shapiro has more than two decades of experience in executive search and previously worked at firms such as CTPartners, Korn Ferry and Egon Zehnder. Eisenberg also has more than 20 years of experience in executive search, beginning his executive search career at Christian & Timbers in 1998.

The deal was announced as part of Kingsley Gate’s continued expansion.

Kingsley Gate’s Umesh Ramakrishnan, office of the CEO, said the company began in 2015 with just three people but now operates in 29 countries. In its first years, the company focused on growth in North America, then it focused on South America. In 2020, the company is focusing on Europe and Asia.

“Our goal has always been to be an alternative to the big five by providing a very differentiated offering in executive search,” Ramakrishnan said. The company’s offering is called “synchronous fit” and aims to bring a structured rigor to the executive search process with the assistance of technology. The company describes the process as the fusion of science and technology combined with expert insight.
