DLH appoints president of DLH Danya

December 14, 2016

DLH Holdings Corp. (NASD: DLHC), a provider of healthcare and logistics staffing and solutions to the US government, appointed Helene Fisher as president of DLH Danya, the company’s new operating unit.

DLH Holdings earlier this year acquired privately held Danya International — a provider of program management, consulting and digital communications solutions — in a $38.75 million transaction. the deal pushed DLH Holdings’ revenue up 49% to almost $25 million in its fiscal third quarter ended June 30.

Fisher will lead operations for customers largely in the civilian agencies market. She will report directly to Zach Parker, president and CEO of DLH.

Fisher has extensive industry experience working on high-profile federal government programs. Prior to joining DLH, she held leadership positions with Maximus Federal Services, where she was responsible for operations and program performance of a major initiative for the Department of Health and Human Services and several Federal Civilian agencies. Prior to joining Maximus, she led large-scale program delivery efforts for the Departments of Homeland Security, Justice, State and electronic health record programs. Fisher also previously served as a captain in the US Army Signal Corps.

“We are delighted to have Helene join our executive team,” Parker said. “Her proven management skills and extensive experience with technology-enabled health services including call centers, training systems, electronic health records, and specialized staffing make her an ideal candidate for strategically leading and driving our growth in targeted markets for DLH.”
