Contract watch: Beeline and government of New South Wales

April 24, 2018

A vendor management system agreement valued at AUD$25 million (US$19.2 million) was announced today between VMS provider Beeline and the government of New South Wales, Australia’s most populous state. The city of Sydney lies on the state’s coast.

The contract’s value is the estimated value of services over the term of the deal, which runs from April 19 of this year through April 18, 2023.

The agreement calls for an end-to-end VMS solution for contingent workers, statement-of-work services and volunteers. It covers requisition to sourcing, onboarding/offboarding, time sheeting, invoicing and payment.

“We are immensely gratified and extremely excited and proud to receive the award of the NSW government contract,” Beeline CEO Doug Leeby said. “We are building a Sydney-based team to support the account and our continued expansion in the Australian market.”

Last week, Beeline also announced its Beeline One unified experience for all customers. The converged platform uses both legacy IQN and Beeline systems. “Regardless of platform, supplier, MSP, or talent provider, all Beeline users now have one unified experience which grants visibility, enables functionality, and helps users to work smarter,” Leeby said in a statement.
