Consulting Solutions International, a Tallahassee, Fla.-based IT staffing provider, acquired Meridian Staffing Services and Meridian Technologies, two divisions of the same company.

Meridian provides IT staffing, consulting, contingent labor and permanent placement staffing services for the commercial and federal sectors — including security cleared personnel — through a combination of direct sales relationships and vendor neutral MSP programs. Meridian is headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla., with additional offices in Charlotte, NC; Washington DC; and metropolitan New Jersey/New York.

The transaction closed June 15; terms were not disclosed.

Plans call for the Meridian brand to remain as a division of Consulting Solutions International. President Chris Pillay will join Consulting Solutions as president of the Meridian division and member of the company’s board.

The deal follows Consulting Solutions’ acquisitions earlier this year of IT staffing providers Technical Resources Group, based in Texas, and The Vine, based in Milford, NJ.

Consulting Solutions International is a portfolio company of private equity firm White Wolf Capital LLC. White Wolf recapitalized the company in June 2016.
