Conexus Search LLC, a Los Angeles-based interim-focused executive search firm, acquired Logis, a staffing company based in Irvine, California.

The acquisition provides clients with access to a broader talent pool and specialized expertise for the execution of business-critical projects.

“This is a combination of two companies that are extremely well-matched,” Conexus Search founder and Partner Mike Kelly said in a press release. “The folks who founded Logis are all former colleagues, so this is a homecoming of sorts, bringing together two strong teams of recruiting professionals who have collaborated successfully in the past.”

The deal closed Nov. 16, and Logis will rebrand to Conexus.

Also as part of the deal, both Conexus Search and Logis will retain their existing office spaces across Southern California and nationwide.

The deal also aims to present new leadership opportunities for existing personnel while maintaining current partner roles.

Founded in 2020, Logis focuses on finance and accounting consulting as well as direct-hire talent services.

“This is an opportunity to better serve our clients and candidates by joining forces with our most formidable competitor,” Logis founder Marty McKeever said in a press release. "Our combined network of customers and talent will make it virtually impossible to compete against.”

Conexus Search, founded in 2012, serves the C-suite, IT and HR verticals.
