Colorado and North Dakota posted the lowest jobless rates among all states in June with unemployment rates of 2.3% each, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Hawaii followed at 2.7%.

Alaska posted the highest jobless rate among states at 6.8%, followed by New Mexico at 6.4%.

Michigan and Tennessee posted the largest year-over-year declines in its unemployment rate in June, falling to 4.2% and 4.0% respectively.
