In a first across Ontario, Brantford City Council will stop using temporary help agencies in a bid to encourage employers to do the same, The Star reports. The ban, unanimously approved on Tuesday evening, is believed to be the first of its kind in Ontario and will prohibit the city council from hiring through such organizations.
