The report surveyed low-wage workers in Chicago, and about 29% of survey participants worked through staffing firms. “Among those workers who tried to address the violation, 58% reported some form of retaliation from their employer, the report says. Most frequently, employers took work away,” according to Crain’s Chicago Business.
