Catalant, a Boston-based online staffing platform, announced Dave Walsh joined the company as its first chief revenue officer, effective last Monday. Walsh, who previously served as an advisor to Catalant, will be responsible for driving the company’s go-to-market strategy within companies and across industries.

Walsh previously spent 12 years at Salesforce. He joined as a founding member of the enterprise sales team and most recently served as VP, enterprise sales.

We believe that with his help and guidance we are well positioned to realize our vision.”

HourlyNerd rebranded as Catalant in July, following a $22 million Series C funding round — led by General Catalyst Partners — which brought HourlyNerd’s total amount raised to more than $33 million.
